The awards program recognized groups for major restoration projects such as restoring the original Apollo Mission Control Center (1969) at NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, the historic sanctuary (1893) at Christ Church Cathedral in Houston's downtown and the historic sanctuary (1930) at South Main Baptist Church in Midtown.
