Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects has been selected as design architect and architect of record for the Daymark Living community in Waxahachie.
Daymark Living is a community created to help adults with learning differences and intellectual delays by offering day programming and full-time residential options.
The 144,853 square-foot inclusive community is dedicated to meeting a wide spectrum of needs. With 28 cottages able to house 200 residents, resort-style pools, sports courts, fitness center, clubhouses, computer labs, green space, community grills, deluxe dining hall, classrooms, transportation and licensed nurse practitioners. The community was designed to offer spacious independent two, three and four bedroom living options along with many social areas to provide activities and interaction with other residents and family members who visit.
Daymark Living is located on the corner of Cantrell St. and Interstate 35 East, in Waxahachie, a growing town of 40,000 people, with ample employment options, historic downtown and a convenient 30-minute drive from Dallas and Fort Worth.

Daymark Living community is scheduled to complete in August 2018, and is currently under construction conducting site grading and building pad preparations. The first foundation will be poured sometime this month. Daymark will be the first of its kind built in North Texas.
