Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects has been selected as design architect and architect of record for the Daymark Living community in Waxahachie.

Daymark Living is a community created to help adults with learning differences and intellectual delays by offering day programming and full-time residential options.

With 28 cottages able to house 200 residents, resort-style pools, sports courts, fitness center, clubhouses, computer labs, green space, community grills, deluxe dining hall, classrooms, transportation and licensed nurse practitioners. The community was designed to offer spacious independent two, three and four bedroom living options along with many social areas to provide activities and interaction with other residents and family members who visit.

Daymark Living is located on the corner of Cantrell St. and Interstate 35 East, in Waxahachie, a growing town of 40,000 people, with ample employment options, historic downtown and a convenient 30-minute drive from Dallas and Fort Worth.

"The Daymark Living project is important in so many ways. "Our team is honored to be part of a new destination that is paving the way in a much-needed sector for adults with special needs."
