This past week Merriman Anderson/Architects celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day downtown by passing out coffee and breakfast tacos to downtown residents, commuters and visitors outside of their office, which is steps away from the DART Akard Station and next door to DART’s main offices. National Random Acts of Kindness Day is a non-profit organization intended to spread kindness through schools, communities and homes, and believes in the power of kindness to change the way people see and experience the world.

Merriman Anderson/Architects employees set up a table early Friday morning to begin their day greeting others who were on their way to work with warm breakfast tacos and coffee. They wanted to have a small part in helping to get everyone's day started on the right foot and remind everyone that kindness is all around them. Their small act of passing out warm coffee and breakfast tacos to morning commuters and passers-by in downtown Dallas helped brighten people’s day and reminded others to pass it forward by celebrating this fun and unexpected holiday.

Merriman Anderson/Architects is a Dallas based architecture, design and planning firm offering programming, urban planning, architectural design, space planning, interior design, graphic design, construction observation and 3D visualization.
