Merriman Anderson Architects (MAA) has introduced two new team members leading the firm’s interior design division. Erin Tallent is leading the firm’s hospitality interiors while Tracy Rumsey oversees commercial and corporate interiors
Erin Tallent (pictured above), RID, assumes the role of director of hospitality interior design for MAA and brings a varied background across all spectrums of the hospitality design industry. Tallent’s portfolio of hospitality installations includes both new construction and renovations catering to a variety of flags in the hotel market. At MAA, she will be responsible for leading a group of talented fellow design professionals to develop unique, thoughtful and creative interior concepts. Her process includes designing and developing the FF&E packages while coordinating with owners, consultants and contractors.
Tracy Rumsey, RID, joins MAA as director of commercial interior design and brings with her a rich background of 17 years of experience. Rumsey’s portfolio includes a breadth of workplace interiors including retail, restaurant and corporate interior design commissions. Rumsey is skilled at creating a collaborative work environment, building trust among clients and fellow consultants and providing exceptional service and solutions for each project, according to the company.
Both Tallent and Rumsey work with the owners, design teams and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and within the budget further developing MAA’s outreach within the commercial, corporate and hospitality industries.
“Our firm is proud to welcome Tracy and Erin to the MAA family,” said Milton Anderson, president, MAA. “They both are extraordinarily talented design professionals and their passion for the industry and leadership skills will provide a huge asset to our team as they lead our interior design projects.”
