The highly anticipated development will add 150 new hotel rooms to the South Las Vegas market.
Merriman Anderson/Architects (MAA) celebrated the completion of Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village for which they provided interior design and FF&E services at the hotel’s grand opening on October 3. The 150-key hotel opened to the public on August 1, 2019, and is located within Silverton Village, a mixed-use hospitality and retail center steps away from Silverton Casino, in south Las Vegas.
MAA developed a design palette that was inspired by natural materials such as stacked stone, slate tile and reclaimed wood, mixed with bold patterns and pops of deep reds, rich saturated yellows and other earthy tones. “We wanted to keep the modern feel of the Hyatt Place brand and combine it with the overall aesthetic of the surrounding Silverton Village,” said Gale Nall, RID, Associate Principal & Director of Interior Design at MAA.
This hotel represents prototypical guest room layouts of the Hyatt Place brand with customization to finishes and furniture, and larger kitchen spaces and meeting rooms, featuring 4,500 square-feet of meeting space.
Majestic Realty is the developer for the hotel. The contractor is Commerce Construction.
