AUSTIN—December 6, 2021—Merriman Anderson Architects (MAA) is proud to announce the opening of the new AC Hotel Austin Hill Country, having provided interior design services for the project.
The newly built hotel is located in a new development at the start of Hill Country in Austin and features five floors, 135 guestrooms, a meeting function space, a sky lounge bar, a lobby bar, and an expansive patio and pool. The hotel is located at 7415 Southwest Pkwy, Building 8, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78735.
A modern design with a hint of Texas is incorporated throughout the interiors, letting each guest experience an effortlessly sophisticated, authentically Austin design. MAA’s interior design team created social spaces inside with expansive window views for guests to experience the beautiful scenery of the Texas Hill Country. The natural forms and materials of the design capture the essence of the landscape outside.
The artwork was thoughtfully curated throughout the hotel to incorporate local artists, immersing the guests in the Austin Hill Country environment.
MAA’s Austin office, Merriman Pitt Anderson (MPA), provided the project with design, production, and Construction Administration architectural services.
