The Barton Skyway offices sit on an environmentally sensitive wooded site.
The awe-inspiring Barton Skyway offices lie on an environmentally sensitive wooded site in Austin, Texas. The buildings have a campus-like feel and offer fantastic visibility and accessibility from South Mopac Expressway. The site’s steep topography has been cleverly used to create buildings that provide captivating views of downtown Austin, Barton Springs, and Zilker Park.
The buildings have been thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment. The front-facing creek has deep punched openings in native stone veneer, providing an earthy texture and feel. On the other hand, the precast panels have horizontal ribbon bands of reflective glass that shimmer in the sunlight, creating a stunning contrast.
One and Two Barton Skyway are towering four-level buildings spanning 196,000 square feet, providing ample space for any organization. The buildings are equipped with a 728-car garage for ease of commuting and parking.
Three Barton Skyway is a true masterpiece. It offers 173,000 square feet of Class “A” office space with a parking ratio of 1,250, making it a perfect location for those looking for a comfortable and hassle-free work experience.
The final development phase is Four Barton Skyway, an architectural wonder spanning over 222,000 square feet. The building has been designed with structural parking at a ratio of 41,000 square feet, providing ample space for both employees and visitors.
