The Butler Brothers Building was built in 1912.

The Butler Brothers Building was built in 1912 and covers an area of 750,000 square feet. It occupies an entire block in downtown Dallas and faces City Hall Plaza on its Ervay front. The building has been renovated to include various amenities such as retail space on the ground floor, 238 residential units, a Fairfield Inn & Suites, a Townplace Suites, a 346-space valet parking garage, and a new building on the east side featuring restaurants and retail outlets. It is located in a rapidly growing residential area south of Commerce Street and is adjacent to retail and restaurant establishments at Main and Commerce Street in downtown Dallas.
