East Quarter

East Quarter is a 20-story high-rise with retail, office, and apartments.

The East Quarter development in Dallas is anchored by the preservation and adaptive reuse of 18 historic buildings—primarily early-20th-century automotive and industrial structures—most notably the original Meletio Electric Building.

Preserved as the primary entry and leasing lobby for East Quarter Residences, the Meletio Electric Building serves as the project’s historic front door. Renovations carefully retained original brick walls and architectural character while transforming the space into vibrant creative offices, retail, and luxury residential amenities. The leasing lobby within the original Meletio Electric Building is designed as a physical and visual bridge between the site’s historic fabric and the new vertical development beyond.

East Quarter is a 20-story, mixed-use high-rise comprising retail, office, and residential components. The development includes approximately 25,000 square feet of street-level retail that wraps the 74-year-old Meletio Electric Building, along with 180,000 square feet of office space across four floors. Above, the residential tower features more than 336 apartment units, complemented by a resident lounge and an eighth-floor outdoor amenity deck with a swimming pool.

Together, the project seamlessly integrates historic low-rise structures with contemporary high-rise development—creating a cohesive urban environment that intentionally connects Dallas’s architectural legacy with a modern, mixed-use destination.
