Martin Hall | Texas College

Martin Hall is Texas College’s historic administrative building.

Martin Hall is a significant administrative building at Texas College that has stood for nearly a century. Unfortunately, the building has suffered from structural degradation and moisture infiltration, primarily due to storm damage in 2015. In response to the damage, MAA was contracted to conduct several critical assessments, including waterproofing, structural remediation, historical documentation through the state level, and non-historic improvements, such as site work and interior finishing.

MAA's team of experts performed thorough assessments of the building's structure, identified the root cause of the damage, and initiated remediation efforts to restore the building to its original condition. The team also documented Martin Hall's historical significance at the state level while prioritizing non-historic improvements to ensure that the building remains a safe and functional space for future generations.

The extensive experience and knowledge of MAA's team enabled them to deliver a comprehensive solution that addressed Martin Hall's structural issues, waterproofing, and historical documentation needs. The result was a restored building that represents Texas College's rich heritage while also providing a safe and functional space for the academic community.
