Oklahoma University Club

It's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal or watch the Sooner game.

The Oklahoma University Club's primary gathering area and smaller banquet rooms underwent a renovation that MAA designed. Previously, the small restaurant was located on the second floor of the Student Union building, and it was not easy to find. However, the area had great potential. The main venue is around 5,000 square feet, with 1,500 square feet of smaller banquet rooms across the hallway.

The existing space was quite plain and lacked character. However, the University President and his wife were actively involved in the design process for the new space. They desired a blend of Spanish Mission and English pub styles. The new space now features a large see-through gas fireplace with comfortable seating, a baby grand piano, a private dining room, a display kitchen, and a bar that offers an extensive selection of white and red wines.

The warm and inviting space boasts wooden floors, a stone fireplace, rich wood trims and millwork, and traditional Mission-style furnishings. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal or watch the Sooner game.
