Located in Farmers Branch, Texas, The Elara is a contemporary mixed-use multi-family community designed to elevate everyday living through thoughtful architecture, sophisticated interiors, and a robust collection of resident amenities. The 150-unit development includes studio, one- and two-bedroom residences as well as approximately 20,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Merriman Anderson Architects provided architecture and interior design services, creating a refined residential environment with a strong street presence and a welcoming sense of community. Articulated building forms, expansive windows, private balconies, light masonry, and contrasting exterior materials bring dimension and visual interest to the façade, while storefront glazing activates the pedestrian level.

Inside, warm neutral tones, natural wood finishes, tailored furnishings, textured materials, and rich accent colors establish an elevated yet approachable atmosphere. Resident spaces—including a clubroom, skylounge, fitness center, game room, coworking and conference areas, and outdoor pool courtyard—support relaxation, productivity, wellness, and social connection.
