The National

Inspired by mid-century motifs, The National incorporates modern luxuries with existing historical components of decades past.

The historical design of this existing 52-story tower and eight-story base element allows for the creation of a new hotel and retail development. The building includes a flagship Thompson Hotel with 218 rooms, 324 Class A multifamily units, 37,000 SF office space, and 43,000 SF retail space.

Deriving details from a well-tailored suit, the design utilizes a neutral color palette paired with masculine tones and angular lines. The National is the perfect mix of paying homage to the past while experiencing all the modern comforts this day and age offers.
