The Uptown Dual Brand Hotel project at 2910 N. Hall St. in Dallas is expected to include a 19-story, 264-key dual-branded Marriott hotel, bringing the Moxy and AC brands to this sought-after part of Uptown Dallas. The hotel is expected to have 143 Moxy rooms and 121 AC rooms, andit will bring a “rocking” rooftop bar and pool to Uptown, overlooking downtown Dallas and within walking distance to West Village. The Moxy Hotel will have a ground-floor bar to appeal to the younger demographic of Uptown.
The building’s design directly responds to the PD 193 zoning requirements, including enhanced setbacks and limited FAR. The seven garage levels of valet-only packed parking accommodate the nuances of PD 193’s parking requirements while maximizing the occupiable space for hotel guests. Exterior material selections reinforce the language of the surrounding fabric, using primarily masonry and glazing products to create separate identities for the individual brands.
